Critical Ops Finnish league (Suomiliiga) has started once again! With the small roster change ( https://untamedspirits.wixsite.com/headquarters/post/new-c-ops-roster-for-sl5) we are going in for the fourth time!
The Finnish league is divided into three series, competitive (kilpasarja), challenger (harrastesarja) and beginner series (aloittelijasarja). We have been placed in the challenger series just like the few previous seasons.
This time there are 31 teams participating in the tournament, which is a new record amount! 8 in the competitive series, 8 in the challenger series and 15 in the beginner series.
Format
- Regular season
- Straight round robin
- Games are BO2 with no tiebreakers. Win=3p, tie=1p and loss=0p
- Every team plays 2-4 games per week
- Lasts for 4-8 weeks
- Each team plays each other 1-2 times
- Top 4 teams will advance to playoffs
- Semifinals & Finals
- BO3
- Qualifier match for semifinal with 4th and 5th place teams
- The winners of semifinals matches play for gold
- The losers of semifinals matches play for bronze
